Endowment
One of the best ways to create a lasting family or personal legacy and help sustain the future of CFMC for generations ahead is to work with us to create an endowment fund. That contribution is strategically invested to generate revenue used to fund charitable activities.
CFMC has a $2 million endowment strategically invested to fund foundation activities.
Donor Advised Funds (DAF)
Our most popular fund is commonly used by individuals, families, and corporations. A DAF provides you with immediate tax benefits and the ability to support nonprofits you care about most. DAFs are one of the most efficient, flexible, and cost-effective alternatives to private or family foundations.
Field of Interest Fund (FOI)
A Field of Interest (FOI) Fund supports a specific area of “interest” that you define. You identify an area of charitable interest — as broad or narrow as you choose — and we will find organizations that do the best work in the interest area and then make grants to those organizations.
Scholarship Fund
Strong communities are built on strong minds. CFMC has awarded more than 2 million in scholarships. A Community Foundation Merced County scholarship fund is a wonderful way to honor a loved one or create a legacy for your family while helping local students pursue their higher education dreams.
